The result of the calculation was printed with letters corresponding to colors to be painted. For example, the letter J is for yellow (jaune), R for red (rouge), etc. The artists used 6 colors: red, yellow, blue, green, black, and white. These letters were then painted by hand on the printout. The work was long and fastidious, taking many hours for each work. The algorithm consists in calculating a virtual color as resulting from the superimposing of elementary colors, these basic colors being then distributed in a random way.
