Auro Lecci began his computer graphic works at the data center of the University of Pisa (Italy) and later continued at the Department of Art of the University of Massachusettes, Amherst, MA (USA).

Works and lives in Florence, Italy.
1958-1964 studied architecture at the University of Florence and the University of Oregon at Eugene.
1965-1968 studied electronic music in Florence and computer generated art in Florence and at the data center of the University of Pisa.
1970-1972 interdisciplinary study of art, linguistics and semiotics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
1973-1975 evolution of involvement in the art scene.
1976 started a graphic design studio, working mostly on catalogues and posters for art exhibitions and art and photography books for prominent Italian and international publishers.
