Gisel Florez is an artist of manual camera & video techniques incorporating conceptual practice. She explores our interconnected nature within the space of existence through the visual study of waves. With 17+ experience in photographic arts in NYC she’s developed a deep artistic path towards beauty found within light & time. Her artworks have been shown at gallery exhibitions & blockchain events such as NFTNYC, Winkleman Gallery, NYICG WallSpace, Museum of Crypto Art & “She Art” VR exhibition in Cryptovoxels. Gisel is a RISD Alumni photographic affinity leader & one of the founders of WOCA collective (Women of Crypto Art). Presentations with “Bridge to the Metaverse” with Artory by SnarkArt, “Behind the Screen” with MOCDA (Museum of Contemporary Digital Art) & interviews “Behind the Art” with Josie Bellini, & Curating Crypto Podcast, & CryptoArtWeek 2020 w/Coldie “In the Artists’s studio”. Gisel is open to special projects & commissions involving stills & motion remotely from her home/studio in NYC.
