“The Diamond Lake Apocalypse series were formatted somewhat like medieval manuscript illuminations. In the late 1980’s I came to view my studio as a 20th Century electronic scriptorium illuminating the codes of our times similar to the way medieval monks illuminated the texts of their time.”
