text from the justification page:
“All the illustrations in this book were created by HODOS, an original computer software program written by Roman Verostko. The Artwork was executed at Pathway Studio, Minneapolis, with a Houston Instruments DMP52, 14 Pen, Plotter coupled to a personal computer operating with MS DOS using HODOS. Chinese paint brushes were mounted on the plotter to execute the brush strokes.
The Pathway Studios’ seal, Xiao Jing Zhai, “Little Footpath Studio” was designed and carved by Wang Dong-Ling, Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China.
The first edition includes 5 artiste liver, 20 deluxe leather and 100 regular bindings by Michael Norman.
The types, Gill Sans, cast by M&H Type of San Fransisco, is printed on Frankfurt text, with Kohl & Madden inks by Michael Tomaszewski. This is book No.”
